All finishing service projects will incur a $15.00
charge per hour of work to prepare your quilt for finishing
(1 hour minimum.) This service includes piecing the backing, repairing
seams, adding borders, clipping loose threads, squaring, pressing, and
basting of quilts smaller than 40" wide and/or 60" long. You
can avoid this fee by preparing your quilt top properly.
To calculate the price for quilting, multiply your
quilt top length by the width, then multiply by the price shown below.
For example, if you want stitch-in-the-ditch quilting on a quilt that
is 36" wide x 45" long, the price is (36 x 45)x $0.015 = $24.30,
plus applicable tax and shipping.

For all work done at an hourly rate, you will receive
a quotation with a not-to-exceed price. This is to help you budget appropriately
for your project, but also protects you in the event that your project
takes longer to finish than we anticipated.

If photos are being incorporated into your quilt,
you will be charged $5.00/sheet of photos. Each sheet measures 8 1/2"
w x 11" h.
Private instruction is offered at $20/hour.
There will be an additional round-trip travel charge at the hourly rate
for locations more than 30 minutes from the studio.
Our hourly rate for all other studio services is $15.00.
