Liberty of London Quilt – Finished
The quilting that my client asked for was a petal design made from interlocking circles: My first thought was, oh my – how am I gonna do that by hand?!?!?! At 80″ for this quilt, we’re talking hundreds of circles.
A Quilt Full of Liberty (of London)
Ever since I went to Paris 2 years ago, I have been coveting Liberty of London fabrics. When I was there, I was able to pick up a few remnants, but at $30-$40 per yard, I couldn’t justify having yardage cut without a definite plan. Imagine my delight when I was contacted by a client to design & make a quilt using Liberty of London prints – exclusively.
